This kitchen remodel would turn any stale-feeling house into a must-have. There's good counter space here and lots of cabinet storage too.
The stove in the island is a cool idea and the vent above it is great. And the counter space around it would be great for prepping the food.
The wood color feels very light and looks good unless you're hoping for a darker look. But it's not white, like so many kitchens seem to end up being painted. the darker counter tops offset the light wood nicely.
Another nice touch here is the oven - notice it's off the ground and much easier to get to when you're baking something. I think I'd really like that height. It'd be especially nice when you're using the oven a lot, like parties or holidays.
