DIY Bathroom Remodel in Progress: Now What?

So you're in the middle of your DIY bathroom remodel project and you're sick of the work. Now what? You could just dig a hole in the backyard and go natural. Of course this raises the problem of a shower...but whatever works for you!

Or you could buckle down and see the light at the end of the tunnel. When the mudding and drywalling have you feeling beat down and unskilled, know that the guests coming over will not shine a flashlight along your seams to make sure there's no ridge. 

You can cover blemishes with paint - especially texture or faux-texture paint. You can cover some up with decorations, too. Pictures and hanging plants and towel racks also go a long ways toward masking imperfections.

A DIY bathroom remodel going wrong may also require a little help from a trusted licensed contractor. Look around for a local company that understands remodeling needs and homeowner design desires.

Remodeling nightmares aren't just relegated to the bathroom. They can happen in the kitchen, on the deck or in the dining room. But don't freak out - remodeling can add value to your home as well as make it more enjoyable to you.
